Purecane Baking Sweetener is the world’s first zero calorie sweetener, fermented naturally from sugarcane. It tastes and bakes like sugar.   So, let’s get baking! 

Bake Off entries accepted from April 2, 2020 to July 31, 2020.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Submit a recipe made with Purecane Baking Sweetener into the First Annual Purecane Sweet Revolution Bake Off! If Your Recipe Wins – You Win!  
  • Entrants are strongly encouraged to include a video and/or photos with each submission (originality and creativity a plus!)
  • Submit a maximum of three (3) videos that document the highlights of your baking experience. Each video should be no longer than 60 seconds.
  • Submit a maximum of two (2) photos: Before and After. The Before photo will show all of the ingredients including Purecane Baking Sweetener. The After photo will show you and/or your loved ones enjoying your final creation.
  • Once we review all submissions, then we will open up the Video,   Photo and Recipe Gallery, where you can vote on your recipes. Encourage your friends, family and followers to vote too! (they can vote anonymously!) 
  • THREE (3) GRAND PRIZE WINNERS will be determined mid-August and announced at the end of August!

PRIZES & JUDGING: 

  • Three Winners – Prizes for Top 3 individual submitters of winning recipes $3,000 cash
  • $500 donation to the local Food Banks for each individual submitter of winning recipes 
  • Receive a personalized video for you of a special, surprise celebrity baker making your original recipe!
  • Your winning recipe will be featured on the purecane.com website and on Purecane social media channels

Selection of winners:  A judging panel will  review and evaluate all eligible entries based on the following criteria and weighting.   

  1. Taste 60%
  2. Appearance 30% 
  3. Gallery Votes 10% 

Judges will be looking for:

  1. Recipes that are bold, unexpected, joyful and yummy!
  2. Videos and photos that are brightly lit, in focus with clear audio and medium to high resolution

CONTEST REQUIREMENTS:

  • There is no fee to enter
  • Submissions will be accepted through July 31, 2020 at 11:59 pm PST 
  • Submitted recipes must include Purecane Baking Sweetener and may not include the following ingredients: regular granular sugar, brown sugar, confectioner’s sugar, or alternative sweeteners.
  • All videos and photos submitted, must accurately depict activity related to the recipe submitted. 
  • Videos and photos are strongly encouraged with each submission.
  • Only original works are accepted. Submitting parties must hold complete ownership and rights of the submitted entry.
  • Three (3) $3,000 cash prize awards will be provided to the top three individual, eligible submitters.
  • Contest is open to entrants who are over 13 years of age and are legal residents of the United States except New York, Rhode Island, Florida and Washington DC.

ABOUT THE CONTEST PORTAL

  • Purecane is using Submittable, the leading contest management software portal to manage all submissions for the First Annual Sweet Revolution Bake Off.
  • You will need to create a free Submittable account in order to submit your Bake Off entry. 
  • You can save a draft of your work if you would like to finish filling out the form at a later date.
  • We will follow up with you about your submission by email. Please be sure the email address you used to sign up for your Submittable account is one that you check regularly.
